ROSANNA COOPER

MA., MPsy.,

I am an HCPC accredited Integrative Arts Psychotherapist. I have a passion for supporting adults to connect with, and express, the creative spirit of life. I collaborate with you to understand and build on your strengths, in order to release blockages, fear, trauma and to explore there resulting patterns. This allows you to find natural pathways towards healing, so that you can live in a way that feels meaningful and true for you.

I am trained to work with seven different art forms. You do not need to be “good at art” to work in this way. Creativity and dreams can be powerful guides into the subconscious; offering a way to harvest the rich symbols, potential and wisdom already waiting to be discovered within you. However, if art and creativity is not comfortable for you, I am also fully qualified as a talking therapist

My particular areas of interest and experience are grief-tending, early developmental and intergenerational trauma, collective creative regeneration, imagination? and ancestral healing.

I offer 1:1 therapy on a short and long-term basis from Harley Street on Tuesdays and online Mondays – Wednesdays.

I facilitate therapeutic retreats for The School of Life and provide academic support and marking for students at The Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education. I host a monthly free-writing and meditation group and regular Art Therapy workshops and retreat days online and in person. I also provide creative workshops to organisations and staff teams. I am also currently running a monthly online writing and meditation group.

I previously set-up and ran an Art Therapy service at Elfrida Rathbone Camden, a North London charity working with families needing support and young people with learning disabilities. My work is also informed by 3 years of working in a secondary care service at the South London and Maudsley NHS delivering Cognitive Analytic Therapy.

Growth with solid foundations

The Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre (CPC) incorporating the North West London (NWLPC)  was established in 1984. We are made up of a group of experienced and highly qualified psychotherapists and counsellors. Unlike many organisations, our therapists come from different schools of psychotherapy and offer a variety of approaches. This is because we understand that as a unique individual, one therapeutic approach or a combination of approaches may be more suitable for you than others.
